Clackamas County Commissioner

Working for Clackamas County

Lower costs. Safer communities. Real solutions that work.

These aren’t talking points — they’re the issues people are dealing with every day. And they’re where I’ve stayed focused as your County Commissioner.

Stop Higher Costs

Families in Clackamas County are already feeling the pressure — at the grocery store, at the pump, and in their monthly bills. That’s why I’ve consistently stood against policies that make life more expensive.

Stop the Gas Tax

I’m standing with our community to oppose Measure 120 — a new gas and payroll tax that raises everyday costs for working families and small businesses.

We don’t need higher taxes. We need better priorities and accountability.

No Tolling

I stood with the community to stop I-205 tolling — and I’ll continue pushing back against any effort to bring it back.

Fiscal Responsibility

We’ve kept Clackamas County financially stable by focusing on:

  • Responsible budgeting
  • Prioritizing core services
  • Pushing back on unnecessary spending

Because families don’t get blank checks — and government shouldn’t either.

Keep Communities Safe

Public safety is the foundation of a strong community. We made it a priority — and it shows.

Fully Funded Law Enforcement

We ensured law enforcement has the resources needed to keep our communities safe and respond when it matters most.

Accountability + Action

We’ve focused on:

  • Holding criminals accountable
  • Supporting first responders
  • Addressing the root causes of crime

Because safety isn’t a slogan — it’s a responsibility.

Real Solutions That Work

We didn’t chase headlines. We built systems that actually work.

Homelessness & Addiction

We took a different approach:

  • Built a recovery-oriented system of care
  • Expanded treatment and recovery services
  • Focused on getting people off the streets and into real help

That work led to a 65% reduction in homelessness.

Recovery is the Goal

We believe something simple: Recovery is possible — and it should be the goal.

Fixing What Wasn’t Working

For too long, the approach wasn’t solving the problem. We changed direction — and started getting results.

Protecting Clackamas County

Clackamas County should be able to make its own decisions.
I’ve pushed back against outside pressure and policies that don’t reflect our community’s needs.

Property Rights

We’ve stood firm against overreach that threatens:

  • Local jobs
  • Affordable housing
  • Our agricultural community

Local Control

Decisions that impact Clackamas County should be made here — not imposed from the outside.

A Clear Choice

This election comes down to a simple question:
Do we stay focused on results — or go back to policies that raise costs and don’t deliver?

Let’s keep Clackamas County moving forward.
