The Facts on Tolling

What was proposed. What happened. Where things stand now.

Watch the discussion and the vote.

What Tolling Would Have Meant

Tolling on I-205 would have directly impacted Clackamas County residents.

For many in this community, it meant paying every time you got on the road.
Commuting, running errands, visiting family.

This would have affected daily life.

What Happened

Before I was elected, the County voted on whether to move tolling forward.

During that discussion, my opponent acknowledged that vote

"creates the legal framework for moving forward with tolling."

Then she voted to advance it.

That was the point where the project could have been stopped.

Where I Stood

I ran in part to stop tolling.

After being elected, I stood with Clackamas County residents and fought to stop it.

And we did.

Where Things Stand Now

Tolling has been stopped for now.

But there are still ongoing efforts to bring it back.

This issue is not settled.

My Commitment

I have consistently opposed tolling.

And I will continue to stand with Clackamas County residents.

My focus is simple.

Protect you from being forced to pay every time you get on the road.
