As a small business owner, I trust Ben, and I know he is watching out for my pocketbook and holding the line against runaway government spending.

Ben has been a steadfast advocate for the residents of Molalla and all of rural Clackamas County. When he took office, we had a significant homelessness crisis, but Ben got to work. His policies help to bring Molalla’s homeless population to functional zero. It is hard to find a leader in Oregon who is as hardworking and competent as Commissioner West.

Commissioner West and I may not see eye to eye on every issue, but on the things that matter most, he has been someone I’ve been able to count on. From building more affordable housing projects like the 500 new units at Hillside to delivering a stabilization center that will serve as a model of recovery-oriented care, I’ve really appreciated working with Commissioner West to deliver for Milwaukie. In an era of divisive politics, I value our ability to find common ground; not as a Republican or a Democrat, but as two people committed to making a difference in our community.

Ben’s unique background and experience make him a strong advocate for all citizens of Clackamas County. He’s been a great partner for the City of Oregon City and I’m pleased to support his re-election.

He held departments accountable, pushed for transparency, and worked collaboratively to make sure solutions were implemented quickly.
